Litt om Motoko Tokugawas historie

FACTS:
Motoko Tokugawa b. Toda in Tokyo 29.mai 1907 of parents Count Ujihide Toda og Countes Yoneko Toda. Grandfather: Count Ujitaka Toda, who served as the first Ambassador for Japan to Austria in the period of 1887 -1889. Toda family was the Lord of Ohigaki provinse under Edo time 1603-1867.
Motoko was educated at The Imperial School in the years of 1913 -1924.

Motoko married 16.april 1926 with Count Satonari Tokugawa.

Tokugawa family high days was ended after 200 years of ruling time in Japan. The family was then fraction up in different branches and then the once so powerful family went back to an ordinary life, but still remembered and honored of the Japanese people.
Motoko-san, was the last arestocrate of here generation. Here children of today dosent have that privilage.
